Gaighat (Udaypur), July 6: Closed-circuit cameras have been installed at the District Administration Office (DAO), Udaypur, for the first time. According to the DAO, it has installed the cc cameras to make the services provided by the office effective and monitor the activities of employees and service recipients. A total of seven cc cameras have been installed at the office, said officiating Chief District Officer, Prakash Jung Karki.

Karki said that the cc cameras would help to make the administrative services more effective and to provide services in transparent and fair manner. Locals said that after the installment of cc cameras, it would be easy to monitor the activities carried out by the employees and service seekers at the office during office hour.
