Kathmandu, July 3: The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ) has reiterated its demand for practical and objective implementation of Working Journalists Act (WJA)-2051 BS.
It is disheartening that the Working Journalists Act, which came into effect since a long time back, has not been implemented in practice, satted a press release issued today by FNJ general secretary Ujir Magar.
The FNJ has urged the sides concerned to provide remuneration with clear indication of service, terms and condition and facilities and due remuneration to working journalists within mid-July in the first phase of its implementation.
