Chautara, July 8: The District Development Committee, Sindhupalchowk, has started providing official information and notices to all government and non government bodies in the district through SMS from Monday. The DDC has started sending officials invitation and pre-information about the meeting through the Information Technology (IT) system.

The information has been provided through block SMS as per the need to invite the political parties, chief of the government offices, VDC secretaries, journalists, social mobilizer, DDC officials, chairman of the consumers group, and other bodies concerned in the district, said Communications officer at the DDC, Rajendra Pyakurel. The system has been effective to provide information in a speedy manner and it could help minimize expenses and human resource, Pyakurel said.
