Kathmandu, July 22: Wrapping up his two-day formal visit to Nepal, UN Under- Secretary General and Head of the Department of Peacekeeping Operations of the United Nations, Mr. Hervé Ladsous, left here for Bangladesh on Tuesday afternoon.

High-ranking officials at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, security officials and others saw Ladsous off at Tribhuvan International Airport.

During his visit to Nepal, the UN Under-Secretary General called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav, Officiating Prime Minister Bamdev Gautam and Minister for Foreign Affairs Mahendra Bahadur Pandey separately. He also met with Chief of Army Staff Gaurav Shumsher Rana. RSS
