Kathmandu, July 10: Ballot papers for the election to be held for the new leadership of the CPN-UML under the ongoing 9th general convention is to be published based on the two panels in the fray.

KP Sharma Oli and Madhav Kumar Nepal are leading two different panels for the new leadership.

Final list of the candidates would be published by 7:00 this evening, according to Chairperson of the UML central election commission Somnath Adhikari.

Likewise, independent candidates will have a different ballot paper. However, no-one has filed candidacy independently. Filing of nominations has come to an end.

The UML will have a 159-member central committee. The party has sought the assistance of the election commission for holding the election. RSS
