Kathmandu, July 10: Argentina has reached the World-Cup final after 24 years. It reached the final after beating the Netherlands with 4-2 on penalties. During the semi-final match held at Sao Paulo stadium early this morning, Argentina reached the final after beating the Netherlands with 4-2 in the tiebreaker. Before this, Argentina had reached World Cup final in 1990.

It had won the FIFA World Cup title in 1978 and 1986. Goalkeeper Sergio Romero saved two penalties to send Argentina into the World Cup final with a 4-2 shootout win over the Netherlands after the game finished in a 0-0 stalemate. With this victory, Argentina will face Germany in Sundays final match. Earlier, Germany has reached final by defeating Brazil with wide difference of 7-1 goal. The Netherlands will play Brazil on July 12 for the third position.
