At a programme organized to announce the Front, they have noted that the front was a must to help frame the new constitution and complete the backlogs of the peace process.
On the occasion, it was shared that the objective of the Front was to engage efforts for writing a constitution, raising voice for progressive state restructuring and roping political parties outside the CA in the constitution-making process.
The Front has set its objective to promulgate a constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic Nepal through CA and enable environment for the implementation of 12-point understanding reached between the state and the Maoist and other past pacts.
On the occasion, UCPN (Maoist) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal expressed the commitment to bringing together the efforts to restructure the state in a progressive way and promulgate a new constitution to bring excluded communities to the mainstream.
"The Front will not be involved in the making and toppling governments", he argued, adding that the Front had become a necessity to put positive pressure for promulgating constitution. RSS
