Kathmandu, July 2: Discussions on the governments policies and programmes the President presented to the Legislature-Parliament on June 29 continued at the joint meeting of the Nepali Congress central committee and the partys parliamentary board today also. In the meeting, the party central committee members and Constituent Assembly members commented on the policy and programme document of the government and presented their suggestions on it, central committee member Ram Krishna Yadav said.
They drew the governments attention to equitable distribution of resources and the budget. The central committee members and CA members complained that the programmes and policies were not as per their expectations and demanded that the amount allocated under the MPs Development Fund be increased to Rs 50 million as it was for the development of the electoral constituencies. Acting president of the party Ram Chandra Poudel chaired the meeting. The meeting will take place tomorrow also for this purpose, it is stated.
