Hetauda, July 17: A motorcyclist died in a road accident at Basamadhi along Hetauda-Narayangadh road section this morning. The deceased has been identified as Uday Kumar Chaudhary of India, now living at Bhairahawa, according to the District Police Office, Makawanpur. The accident took place when a night bus (Na 5 Kha 1268) heading towards Kathmandu from Rajbiraj hit the motorcycle (Lu 18 Pa 7188) en route to Birgunj from Bhirahawa at Basamadhi.
The motorcyclist died on the spot in the accident, said police. Similarly, pillion rider Sonu Singh of India, living at Bhairahawa, was critically injured in the accident and has been receiving medical treatment at Hetauda Hospital. Police have arrested the bus driver and impounded the vehic
