At a programme organized by Nepali Congress Sunsari Constituency No. 1 in Dharan on Wednesday, he said that BP Koirala struggled a lot to empower the people and make them sovereign adding that the first elected prime minister of Nepal never forget his responsibility.
Leader Poudel also said that BP’s policy of national reconciliation has become further relevant at present and the constitution of new Nepal by January 22 was possible only if all parties internalize the BP’s concept of national reconciliation.
Nepali Congress central committee member Dr Shekhar Koirala, former vice chairman of the National Planning Commission Jagdish Pokhrel and other speakers highlighted the BP’s contributions to Nepali society, politics and literature. RSS
