Tanahu, July 3, 2014 - Two persons, including a child, were killed while 11 others became injured when a truck hit a microbus at Manpang VDC of Khairenitar in the district on Thursday afternoon.

The killed ones were microbus driver Dhan Singh Thakuri from Panauti, Kavre, and 23-month old child Satyam Shresth from Dolakha, said the District Police Office, Tanahu.

The truck (Lu 1 Kha 6730) heading to Damauli from Pokhara hit the microbus (Ba 3 Kha 42) running in the opposite side.

The injured ones have been undergoing treatment at Damauli and Pokhara hospitals. RSS
